I’ve had the 5-Spot twice; one experience was Dine-in and the other was carry-out. Both times I was treated with respect and courtesy. The food is well seasoned and enjoyable! Try the collard greens spinach dip. It’s amazing.

The chicken tenders were crispy and juicy, and I highly recommend them. Carolina Gold and the hot honey was amazing! The collard greens were good, but they were so salty that I couldn't finish them. The grits rolled out with cheddar on top, which I didn't care for. Gimme the cheese incorporated into the grits. The collard greens dip with the tortilla chips was well worth it. The chips had some sort of seasoning on them, which set them apart from just a standard chip. He enjoyed the shrimp and grits and said he'd totally order them again. A generous amount of shrimp, for sure. For me, there was nothing robust about them. We sat through a thunderstorm as we were eating. We then watched the GM go out and clean out the street drain to help keep the water up off their curb and out of the restaurant. Cars driving by push water up on the curb, creating the potential for flooding inside the establishment. I throw her HUGE props for that. Much respect to her commitment to keep the restaurant clear of water Definitely a good meal and pretty resonably priced.

Nice establishment. The allergy friendly menu is small due to my personal limitations Gf/Df+ and they have shared fryers, but the salad was delicious.

Some of the best food I had for a while! The serving sizes are not exactly overwhelming, but ok. All three menu items we tried were very good. Great cooking, and a nice selection too.

On a road trip, we had to stop in Savannah, ga for some good food and 5 spot didn't disappoint. Everything came out fresh and was great. The shrimp and grits were recommended by the waiter. The chicken fried chicken was oh so good. It's definitely a great spot for something quick to eat. Everyone was pleasant. The place was beyond clean, and the area felt safe.

Modern diner with plenty of free parking. Food was excellent with good portions. We had the brunch Village Scramble and the Chicken Tenders. Scramble was an omelette with bacon, tomato dices, onions, mushrooms, and chives over crispy potato wedges and covered in sausage gravy - very tasty and filling. Tenders were cooked perfectly and came with crispy fries with just the right amount of seasoning. Food took a little bit longer than expected to arrive, but not excessively slow. Make sure you check which menu is being served, as we were there for brunch on a Sunday, and the full lunch menu was not available until 3 p.m.. This was our favorite of the five restaurants we visited in Savannah this weekend.

First off,I want to say thank you for taking my to go order at 832. I was told it was a policy that cut to go orders off 30 mins before closing. However I would also love to add ,I am a RN. I work over an hour away. The interstate is currently jacked up with traffic and construction, so people may get home later than usual. So again, thank you! I simply wanted a fried shrimp platter(one of my faves) after my long 12 hour plus shift. And it didn’t disappoint! Dinner done!

Loved that they had covered outdoor seating so we could enjoy our meal with my dog. Amanda our server was very nice! I got the Buhda bowel with grilled chicken and it was delicious! Definitely a great spot to catch a quick meal away from the crowded downtown area
